Private baby scan prices: what clinics charge by scan type
A summary of the prices private scan clinics publish on their own websites, so you know what to expect before you book.

What we found
We checked the websites of the 101 clinics we list on 30 October 2026. 99 of them publish at least one price. For each scan type, the table shows the lowest and highest price published by any listed clinic. The typical price is the median across operators, so a chain or franchise with one price at many branches counts once.

Where a clinic publishes a range or several packages for one scan type (for example bronze, silver and gold), we use its lowest published price. Prices are not like-for-like: packages differ in scan length, prints, video and extras.
Clinics name their scans differently. In this table, early / viability covers early pregnancy, viability and early reassurance scans; wellbeing / reassurance includes later reassurance scans; growth & presentation includes presentation-only scans. Some clinics combine a dating and viability scan, so it appears in both rows.
Things that change the price
- The package. Many clinics sell bronze, silver and gold style packages with more prints, video or time.
- Offers. Some prices are time-limited offers or "from" prices. We show them as the clinic does and note it on the listing.
- Chains and franchises. Some publish one price for every branch; others vary by clinic.
- Weeks of pregnancy. Each scan type is only offered at certain weeks, and clinics publish different windows.
NHS scans
Private scans don't replace NHS antenatal scans. Keep going to your NHS appointments, and contact your midwife or maternity unit with any concerns. This site lists private clinics only.
