How we work
Baby Scan Prices is an independent directory. We are not a scan clinic, we don't take bookings and we don't give medical advice.
Where the listings come from
Every listing is built from public information the clinic publishes itself, usually its own website or booking page. For franchises and chains we used their own clinic finders and branch pages. Each listing links to the page we used as its source.
We currently cover the North West, North East, Yorkshire and the Humber, Birmingham and Solihull, and Nottingham and nearby towns.
How we check prices
We only show a price if the clinic publishes it. Each price shows the page it came from and the date we checked it. If a clinic doesn't publish prices, the listing says "Price not published". We never estimate, average or work out a clinic's price.
Prices are not always like-for-like. Some are "from" prices, some are time-limited offers, and packages include different prints, video and scan lengths. We quote the clinic's own figures so you can check what's included.
For franchises and chains that publish one price for every branch, we show that price on each branch and link to the group's own price page. Availability can vary by branch.
Scan types
Clinics name their scans differently. We group them as early / viability, dating, gender, 4D / HD live, growth & presentation, and wellbeing / reassurance, and show the weeks offered where the clinic publishes them.
What "Not confirmed" means
"Not confirmed" means the clinic's website doesn't say either way. It doesn't mean the scan isn't offered. We only show "No" where the clinic says so.
How listings are ordered
On town pages, listings are ordered by straight-line distance from the town centre. Elsewhere they're listed alphabetically. Nobody can pay to move up.

This site compares prices and services only. It isn't medical advice and we don't recommend one clinic or scan over another. Private scans don't replace NHS antenatal scans; contact your midwife or maternity unit with any concerns.
